Catnip

HEIRLOOM. Nepeta cataria. There’s something about the smell of catnip that drives cats crazy. The plant is a herbaceous member of the mint family, native to Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Treat your cat and plant some catnip in your home or garden. Catnip can also be used as an insect repellent: it keeps away mosquitoes, flies and cockroaches.
