Garlic Chives

HEIRLOOM. Allium tuberosum. A perennial plant producing white flowers in a round cluster on stalks of the garlic chives in late summer to Autumn blooming plant. In cold areas, the plant dies back in the winter and re-sprouts from roots in the spring.

The flat leaves, the stalks, and immature, unopened flower buds are used as flavoring. 

Also known as Oriental garlic, Asian chives, Chinese chives and Chinese leek.
