Convolvulus Ensign Mix
Convolvulus tricolor. Convolvulus Ensign Mix are fast-growing, twining vines that are tender perennials with large, funnel shaped flowers and heart-shaped leaves. Flowers open in the morning and last only one day but plants bloom midsummer to early fall. They can be planted on trellises, arbors, lattice or chain-link fences or used as a ground cover. Plants do best in full sun with moderate moisture and well-drained soils. This variety of flower attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
Convolvulus require support to climb such as pergolas, walls or fences. Great in containers, hanging baskets and groundcover. This plant can be invasive.
