Moonflower
Ipomoea alba. Moonflower produces large, funnel-shaped white flowers that open at night which gives Moonflower its common name. This twining, climbing vine does best trellised and can grow 10 to 15 feet tall. Plants bloom mid-summer through fall. Its nocturnal flowers are fragrant and attractive to night-flying moths and hummingbirds. It is useful in covering fences or trellises. This plant is also deer tolerant.
