Ruby Queen Beet
HEIRLOOM. The Ruby Queen beet is a variety that does very well in poor soils. It produces uniform, round globes and short tops. The leaves grow to be green with maroon edges. The Ruby Queen beet is mild and sweet in flavor. These beets are hardy and can be grown in a number of zones and climates, and can thrive in full shade. Smooth round roots with short tops. Great for canning. Retains color during processing. Harvest in approximately 52 days.
