Texas Bluebonnet

Lupinus texensis. Texas Bluebonnet is the state flower of Texas and blooms in spring. The blue flowers have white markings and appear in clusters at the top. Plants are easy to grow and highly adaptable to a range of growing conditions. Flowers may be fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Plants and seeds are poisonous to livestock.
